As Pride Month comes to a close, our commitment does not. We stand in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ workers every day of the year — fighting for dignity, safety, and fairness in every workplace.

Pride is more than a celebration, it's a reminder that solidarity makes us stronger. 🌈✊

Congratulations to First Nations University of Canada on 50 years of empowering students and advancing Indigenous education!

We’re proud to recognize not only this incredible milestone, but also our union’s 36-year history with representing members who work here. Your hard work and commitment have made a meaningful impact and helped shape this university’s legacy.

Here’s to celebrating the past, honouring the present, and envisioning how we will work together for the next 50 years!

Across the province, more than half of undergraduate courses are now taught by contract faculty: highly trained instructors hired on short-term, often precarious contracts, with little job security, access to employer benefits or institutional support. OCUFA is holding a Social Media Day of Action to shine a light on this stark reality and call for fair, stable working conditions for contract faculty.
