⚓️ A New Chapter for NLCC #9 A.N. Morris ⚓️
Last night was a very special evening for NLCC #9 A.N. Morris as we held our Change of Command Ceremony.
After four years as Commanding Officer, I officially stepped down from the position and had the honour of passing command to Sub Lt (NL) Alice Monks.
Serving as CO of A.N. Morris has been an incredible journey. I am so proud of the cadets who have come through our doors, watching them learn, grow, gain confidence, make friendships, and discover what they are capable of. There have been plenty of challenges, lots of laughs, countless memories, and so many moments that I will carry with me.
A huge thank you to our amazing staff, volunteers, cadet families, and everyone who has supported our corps over the years. A cadet corps truly is a team effort, and I am incredibly grateful for every person who has played a part in our success. ❤️
And to Alice — congratulations! I know you will bring your own energy, ideas, and heart to the role. I am excited to watch you take A.N. Morris into this next chapter, and I know our cadets are in great hands. ⚓️💙
Although I am stepping down as Commanding Officer, this isn't goodbye. A.N. Morris will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I look forward to continuing to support our cadets and staff in whatever way I can.
