Canadian Mental Health Association, Regina Branch

Canadian Mental Health Association, Regina Branch CMHA Regina provides a wide range of services and supports to people who are experiencing mental illness. We are not a crisis response agency.

Mental illnesses can take many forms, just as physical illnesses do. Mental illnesses are still feared and misunderstood by many people, but the fear will disappear as people learn more about them. If you, or someone you know, has a mental illness, there is good news: all mental illnesses can be treated.

“How are you, really?”

Sometimes, the most important conversation is the one we almost don’t have.

Many men are taught to push through, stay quiet, or deal with things on their own, even when they’re struggling. But connection can save lives. This Men’s Mental Health Month, we’re sharing practical ways to check in on the men in your life and help create spaces where they feel safe to open up.

Because no one should have to struggle alone. 💚

The FIFA World Cup brings excitement, community, and unforgettable moments, but it also brings a surge in sports betting ads.

During games, on social media, and through our favourite athletes, gambling is becoming increasingly normalized, especially for young people. When betting is framed as harmless fun, the risks can be easy to miss.

Research suggests exposure to gambling advertising can influence how often people gamble and how much they spend.

Learn more about the mental health and addiction risks of sports betting and how we can start the conversation: https://zurl.co/BrPuy

We all need support from time to time, and it’s essential for supports to be accessible when we need them.
