We’re kicking off Canadian Innovation Week by throwing it back to where it all began!
In 2019, Conexus Credit Union launched Cultivator — Canada’s first credit union-led tech incubator — with one bold mission: to build a thriving innovation hub right here in Sask. No Silicon Valley zip code required — just big ideas, bold founders, and a whole lot of prairie grit. 🌾
At the time, Sask’s startup scene was buzzing with talent, but founders were often forced to leave the province to chase their dreams. We thought — why not build something here, for here?
And we did. 💥
Fast forward to today: over 180 startups incubated, countless dreams accelerated, and a community of innovators who are proving that you don’t need to leave the prairies to build something game-changing.
From late-night pitch decks to early-morning coffees, this is where the magic happens. And if the last six years have taught us anything, it’s that:
