Our last meeting, we presented the biggest cheque yet with $21,700 going to the Autism Resource Centre!

We were so incredibly proud of the 50 years of service the Autism Resource Centre has provided to our city.

Their services are neuro-affirming, person-centred and goal based, helping hundreds of autistic adults, teens, and children each year.

They offer:
💙 individual and group programs for adults, and summer camps for teens and kids
💙 individual counselling and group mental health programs
💙 employment programs for members, and education for local employers
💙 supportive living programming that focuses on building life skills and independence
💙 advocacy and community education to help empower the autistic community

The nominees are in for our September 14th meeting and our members did not disappoint! These three worthy charities and non-profits are going to give us their pitch as to what they would do with our donation if the votes go in their favour.

The Caring Place aims to provide affordable, accessible mental health care and intervention before individuals experience a crisis

Chip & Dale Homes Inc. creates and manages family-like homes for adults with intellectual disabilities while adapting to their changing needs

Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when child need healthcare

Scotiabank is hosting a BBQ for us, and they’re making it even better by matching all the proceeds!

We can’t believe that summer is winding down and fall will be in full swing in just a matter of days!

Our third meeting of the year is quickly approaching and your voice matters! You can be the reason why a non-profit gets selected for our donation money this season! We are over 200 members and have collectively raised over $735,444 over the last 10 years once we present our cheque to Autism Resource Centre at our next meeting.

White Pony Lodge is seeking volunteers to help our 10th Year Anniversary event run smoothly! We have a variety of tasks to sign-up for, such as setting up and taking down, food service, tech support, and more. Shifts are dependant on interest and tasks assigned, but may last up to three hours. Availability will be discussed in our follow-up communications and we will do our best to accomodate :-] A special thank you to the City of Regina for helping us make this happen! We wouldn't be able to do this without their support.
