OSI-CAN

OSI-CAN "We support the Mental Wellness of Veterans and Frontline Protectors in Saskatchewan.

The importance of this program is found in the unnecessary suicides of people within our target group across the country. We DO NOT want our military or community first responders in Saskatchewan to become a part of those statistics. Consistent with the approach adopted by the Royal Canadian Legion, we have shifted from the term of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that has a very narrow and negative

definition to the term Operational Stress Injury (OSI) which references all areas of mental health and the negative reactions adjusted. We have one GOAL in mind: TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PUT THEMSELVES ON THE LINE FOR US.

From all of us at OSI-CAN to you, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We hope you all have a fantastic day! ☘️

What a fantastic initiative! 💙 Huge appreciation to the Saskatoon Police Service's Sask. Women in Policing - SWIP and the Blades for helping create spaces where young girls can see their strength reflected back at them. Events like Girls Rock Night remind us of the power of representation. When girls see confident, capable women leading in sports, policing, and our communities, they start to believe in their own potential, too.

Thank you for showing up, lifting others up, and helping the next generation know that they truly belong in every arena.

Last night, members of the Saskatoon Police Service had the honour of attending Girls Rock Night at the Blades game - a night dedicated to celebrating the strength, confidence and potential of girls in sport.

From hockey to policing, the message is the same:

✨Show up. Work hard. Believe in yourself.

Events like this empower young girls to see that they belong in every arena - on the ice, in leadership and within our communities. Because when girls see women leading, they know they can too. 💙🖤💙

Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of all veterans—those who have worn the uniform in service to Canada, at home and abroad.

We honour the Indigenous warriors who have defended this land for generations, the immigrants who chose to serve their new home with pride, and every veteran who stood for freedom, peace, and community.

Their service reminds us that the strength of our nation lies in its diversity and in the shared commitment to protect and support one another.

From all of us at OSI-CAN, thank you for your service, your resilience, and your continued contribution to our communities.

Lest We Forget. 🌺
