Canadian Ski Patrol - Qu'Appelle Zone

Directions Website

Canadian Ski Patrol - Qu'Appelle Zone The Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) is a national, non profit corporation comprising highly trained volunteer and professional members.

We provide volunteer first aid services to Mission Ridge Winter Park during the skiing-snowboarding season and to various non-skiing events in southern Saskatchewan.

It was formed in 1941 to promote safe skiing and provide assistance to injured skiers. The CSP provides, without charge, a uniform, highly skilled and responsible service to snowboarders, downhill and cross-country skiers as well as assisting at non-skiing events. All members of the CSP must annually pass a rigid set of nationally set examinations covering all aspects of patrolling, including first aid, CPR, skiing and safe skiing, procedures and programs. Patrollers are well equipped to handle emergencies at any time and in any place. Ski Patrol training emphasizes adaptability and versatility in any emergency

Look up! 🪂✨ Last Saturday’s incredible skydiving demonstration by the CAF SkyHawks was the perfect way to kick off the Moose Jaw Hometown Event!
Watching them dive through the atmosphere and nail their formations was absolutely breathtaking. Our Qu’Appelle Zone ski patrol crew had the best view in the house while keeping things running safely on the ground.
Huge thanks to the SkyHawks for putting on such an unforgettable show, and to our amazing community for sharing the excitement with us! 🇨🇦❤️

Is it just us, or do those smoke trails look like the perfect ski run? 🪵⛷️
Serving our community in the summer heat has been amazing, but seeing those "snow trails" in the sky definitely made us miss the winter ski season! ❄️❤️ Who's ready for the snow to drop?

Seeing the paint this giant heart in the sky yesterday was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do. Our Qu’Appelle Zone team was so proud to support the Moose Jaw Hometown Event, but the real highlight was interacting with all of you!
A massive thank you to our incredible community for your smiles, cooperation, and endless support while we managed the traffic and parking. We love serving a society that shows up for each other like this. 🍁👋

Yesterday, the Qu’Appelle Zone Ski Patrol team swapped the snow for the summer heat to support the historic Hometown Event at the Moose Jaw Municipal Airport! ✈️☀️
Our crew was on the ground early, managing traffic flow and keeping parking organized so thousands of fans could enjoy the incredible aerial displays safely. 🚗💨
A massive thank you to our dedicated patrollers who braved the blistering heat to keep things moving. We love supporting our local communities year-round—even when the skis are packed away! 🍁💪
