IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE SCAMMERS!

Yup. The scammers are back. This time they're reaching out to local crafters from a fake CVAF gmail address that starts with cathedralvillageartsfestival.ca@... and asking for large sums of money to hold a spot in the 2027 CVAF Street Fair.

The Cathedral Village Arts Festival DOES NOT operate like this. All applications for Street Fair spots are registered through the CVAF website and once you register through there, you'll get an email directly from one of our team.

And we HAVEN'T STARTED PUTTING TOGETHER THE 2027 STREET FAIR YET!!! Heck, we've just barely started planning for next year's Festival.

If you get an email from a suspicious address like this one, don't respond, just mark them as phishing spam. And please let us know so we can keep track of widespread this problem is.

Stay cyber safe everyone. And we'll let you know when the CVAF website is open for applications.

Feel that chill in the air? That first real snow is just around the corner!

And that means it’s time for the crack squad of volunteer shovellers who make ups the Cathedral Snow Angels to blow the dust off their shovels and get ready to help their neighbours keep Cathedral an accessible and walkable community for the 2026/2027 winter season!

If you want to help out clearing snow for people who can’t shovel their walks, sign up to join the Cathedral Snow Angel Team!

Or if you can’t shovel your sidewalk— whether due to illness, accident or a mobility issue (and you can’t afford to hire a snow shovelling service) — sign up through the Cathedral Snow Angel website.
