Pakistan Canada Cultural Association (PCCA) of Regina, Saskatchewan is a non-religious organization of mainly Pakistani origin Canadian living at Regina and surrounding. Objectives:
This shall be a cultural but non political association for the following objectives:
◾Introduce Pakistan and its cultural heritage to Canada and Canadian society to facilitate a mutual and better appreciation of each
other’s culture
◾Co-operate with other cultural or community based organizations in the Province in pursuance of common good causes,
◾Facilitate dissemination of information relevant to educational, cultural, and business opportunities in this province to those who may wish to avail themselves of such information
◾To assist individuals immigrating to Regina in obtaining relevant information to their need and situation
◾in pursuance of its objectives, the Association shall strive to effectively establish its status as a good and productive citizen of this province. Functions:
The following activities shall be considered the regular functions of the Association; executives of the association will try to organize these functions.
◾Eid reunions (for Eidul Fitr and Eidul Zuha) party on dates closer to Eids in a form and place decided by Executives,
◾Commemorate Quaid-i-Azam day in December every year when possible in conjunction with Christmas and New Year celebration,
◾Try to arrange a cultural concert or Mushaira once every year either independently or in conjunction with any other functions,
◾Independence Day (closer to August 14),
◾Annual picnic in conjunction with Canada day
◾In addition, Executives of the Association shall try to organize other activities of interest and shall endeavour to participate in Mosaic Festival.
