As we gear up for the Toastmasters International Speech Contest and Table Topics, two individuals have distinguished themselves in Areas B04 and B18. Iliana Ontiveros and Lutus Vu have emerged as the top contenders and will be advancing to the next round of competition.

We wish them the best on April 11th. Come by to learn the Art of Speechcraft and to cheer them on at the Knox Metropolitan Church, Regina Downtown.

Just like the song says, legends really are being made at Wascana Toastmasters. Tonight, we enjoyed three remarkable speakers who each brought their stories to life with vivid visuals and expressive delivery. It was a reminder of how much we grow when we step up, speak up and support one another.

Every Tuesday, we learn new ways to communicate confidently. We challenge ourselves to improve and celebrate each milestone, whether it is mastering a speech, leading a meeting or trying something outside our comfort zone. You can be part of this experience too.

If you have ever wanted to express yourself more clearly or build confidence in front of others, this is a welcoming place to start. We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Regina’s downtown at Knox Metropolitan United Church. We would be happy to see you take that first step and discover the communicator in you.
