We were honoured to welcome the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, to the SaskInteractive office on May 20, 2026.

We extend our thanks to Minister Miller for taking the time to connect with Saskatchewan’s interactive digital media community and experience firsthand the incredible innovation happening right here in our province.

Minister Miller had the opportunity to see two exciting demos from our community members:

- Michael Long of Foolish Mortals showcasing the upcoming release of Real-Time General
- Dwayne Melcher of Melcher Studios demonstrating their immersive VR Hub experience

We appreciate the support for Canada’s growing creative technology and interactive media sectors, and we look forward to continuing to showcase the world-class talent being developed right here in Saskatchewan. We also would like to extend our thanks to Erin Dean of Creative Saskatchewan for also joining us in welcoming Minister Miller.

Have you ever wondered how to market video games? Well wonder no more! , & are putting on a month long Marketing Bootcamp with lessons taught by Jill Sauter from Bench Strength Marketing and classes hosted at the Saskatoon campus or online you can't miss this event!

During this event Game Devs or Marketers will meet once a week to build and refine a professional grade marketing plan for their studio! This marketing plan can then be used to apply for grants or work with publishers! Seats are limited so act now!
