Thank you to everyone who attended India Night!

Last night I was pleased to attend India Night hosted at the Delta Hotel in Regina. Also in attendance was Minister Marit, Minister Kaeding, Minister Weger, and MLAs Daryl Harrison, Kevin Weedmark, Brad Crassweller, and Blaine McLeod.

This annual fundraising event helps remove financial barriers so more children can access arts and cultural programs.

A fantastic evening celebrating cuisine, community, and culture!

As part of the SaskCulture team, Creative Kids is committed to listen, learn, reflect and act on Reconciliation today and every day, because .

Today, SaskCulture recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day, as a time to learn more about the true impact of Residential schools on First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit peoples living on this land, understand the change needed, and make a commitment to action.

We honour the children who never returned home, along with Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities.
