Our 2027 Multifaith Calendars are now available for purchase!

The Multifaith Calendar is a unique educational resource that facilitates and promotes understanding of religious observances, occasions and festivals important to a wide spectrum of cultural and faith communities.

Featuring 18 pieces of original art from visual artists across North America and Internationally, the new 2027 edition marks the 41st anniversary of our Calendar and features the theme: Moments of Hope

Save the date to join us in celebrating Saskatchewan Multicultural Week this November 21-29, 2026!

Our theme is "Rooted in Reciprocity, Growing in Solidarity".

Reciprocity is about mutual exchange and giving back, while solidarity is about showing up.

This theme invites us to rebuild right relations, share stories and truths, redistribute opportunity, and to create an environment where everyone belongs.

It is a reminder that reconciliation is not an end state but continual accountability in our relationships that shape the cultural, economic, social, political, and ecological future of Saskatchewan.

Solidarity and reciprocity call us to ensure that we are not extracting labour, knowledge, or resources, but instead building equitable relationships for mutual empowerment and benefits.

We are accepting applications for the Multicultural Education Initiatives Funding until October 30th!

A wonderful story was shared with us by a parent who listened as their kids spoke about how this funding has made significant impacts on their education at École Wascana Plains School.

The parent said, "I overheard my son talking to his sister after school. He was telling her she would be so lucky if she she got Jennifer Gardner as a teacher when she's older. And was raving about all the celebrations she planned for her class and the cultural foods he gets to try in class!"

Did you know that proceeds from the sale of every lottery product purchased through Sask Lotteries benefit more than 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups across the province?

It's true and MCoS is one of the very fortunate recipients of this!

The scariest thing this October? Not having a LOTTO MAX ticket when the jackpot is $80 million on Oct 9.

We hope that you'll all join us today!

We have a full day of learning and sharing planned starting at 8:30 am with Pipe Ceremony at the mâmawêyatitân centre. The program begins at 10:00 am with lunch provided at 12:30 pm.

We'll have supports available for anyone who wishes to access them including social workers and the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs.
