The meeting will take place on Sunday May 24 at 7:00 PM at the Baxter Room, Atlas Hotel. We encourage all members to attend and participate.

We will be meeting for our first Regina Dragon Boat Festival organizing committee meeting of 2026
Sunday April 12 at 7pm at the Baxter (Knotted thistle, Atlas Hotel, 4177
Albert St, Regina, SK S4S 3R6) this will be a 2-hour meeting, although
we will wrap up sooner if we can.

PLEASE pass this on to anyone who might be interested as we
need help in a variety of areas this year (please see list at bottom).

Anyone attending please let me know if you wish to have anything added
to the agenda, theses are high level items and some have subpoints that will be elaborated on at the meeting.

- festival leaders for areas like volunteers/children's area/beer
garden/dock master/timing towers/vendors area/festival
master/entertainment/etc.
- Advertisers/Friendly people - people who are good at making community
connections/doing media interviews/writing media releases/writing
advertising copy/etc.
- technical help/social media/tech savvy - our website is built on
WordPress and uses Divi for editing, we have Facebook and Instagram for
social media
- Volunteer recruitment - people who know people, help with recruitment
for all areas of the festival for day of
- Team recruiters - people who can go to corporations/gyms/organized
sports/universities/clubs/anywhere people gather and talk about how
awesome dragon boating is and encourage teams to come out and race

If you are willing to lend a hand or have a good idea we will find a
spot for you to help us out! Thank-you for your willingness to
volunteer!!!

Congratulations to everyone behind the new North Shore Docks! 🎉🚣‍♀️⛵
It was an honour for the Regina Dragon Boat Festival to attend the Grand Opening of the Canoe/Kayak, Rowing, and Sailing Docks on Wascana Lake’s north shore. This beautiful new space is a milestone for our paddling and water sport community, bringing together the hard work and dedication of so many passionate people. Kudos to the Wascana Racing Canoe Club, Regina Rowing Club, and all the contributors who made this vision a reality. Here’s to countless new adventures on the water! 🌊💙
