This World Mental Health Day, October 10, RRLIP is highlighting the importance of mental and emotional well-being, connection, and access to support, especially for newcomers and families building a new life in our community.

Mental health can be affected by many parts of the settlement experience, including isolation, cultural adjustment, language barriers, family changes, financial pressures, and navigating unfamiliar systems. It was a great opportunity to connect with community members, share perspectives, and brainstorm ideas around housing, transportation, and communication to help make Regina more inclusive and age-friendly for everyone.
