Our Story
Indian Student Association (ISA) at University of Regina, is a non-profit association established to advocate Indian culture and heritage among University students and community members. The primary goal of the Association is to aid the new international students with settling down, to start their university life. ISA also organizes events/parties to promote student participation. Diwali is the flagship event for ISA, organized since our establishment. We aim to provide a fun and friendly environment for student interactions. We try to “enlarge” the University experience of the students through endeavors undertaken in order to facilitate a platform to showcase their skills and help out the community. Students can also become a part of team ISA or work together, to gain valuable experience. This also serves as a channel of communication and co-operation between new and old students. As India is a complex yet diverse and secular, we extend a warm, non-discriminatory invitation to anyone (Indian and non-Indian alike) interested in getting involved with us and learning about beautiful India to come join us. "Promotion of cultural unity and prosperity."
