Our thanks to the Seniors Planning Ahead Program for recently letting Jenna Peoples and Abby Schneider present on charitable giving.

We were happy to provide copies of our Legacy Planner to all who attended and are bringing back more this week for their friends and families.

The Seniors Planning Ahead Program is hosted at Regina’s Lakeview United Church. The free program is sponsored by a New Horizons Seniors Grant.

Participants learn about a variety of subjects including Wills and estate planning.

June is Pride Month in Saskatchewan. It is a time to recognize and celebrate the resilience, diversity, and contributions of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community. It’s also an opportunity to raise awareness and continue the call for inclusion and equality in our communities.

From vibrant parades to film festivals and community markets, celebrations are taking place throughout the province in June. Show your support and consider getting involved in these upcoming events:

• Queen City Pride Festival (Regina) | June 5–13 (https://queencitypride.ca/events/)

• Saskatoon Pride Festival | June 22–28 (https://saskatoonpride.ca/events)

• Prince Albert Pride Week | May 31–June 7 (https://www.facebook.com/PrinceAlbertPride/)

Let’s work together to help build a Saskatchewan where everyone feels valued and respected not only this month, but year round.

Your website is one of your strongest fundraising tools, especially when deadlines are tight. A well-designed website helps supporters find what they need and take action quickly.

This month, we’re highlighting a Marketing resource from the Charity Resource Hub: “3 Website Design Tips to Meet Your Fundraising Deadlines” from AFP Global.

Here are a few key takeaways:

- Make your donation page clear, simple, and mobile-friendly so supporters can give without frustration

- Design campaign landing pages that highlight your mission, deadlines, and ways to participate

- Use intuitive navigation so visitors can easily find donation buttons, events, or impact stories

- When your website serves your audience clearly and efficiently, supporters are more likely to engage, donate, and take action.

Explore the full resource on charityresourcehub.ca under the Marketing section.

Congratulations to Gordon Gerrard for ten wonderful years of leading the Regina Symphony Orchestra.

We were so proud to attend and sponsor “Echoes of a Decade" - Gordon Gerrard’s farewell performance as music director of the RSO.

It was a beautiful celebration of music, leadership, and community. Thank you, Gordon, for the lasting impact you’ve made on Saskatchewan’s arts community. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter.

The day focused on building safer, stronger, and more supportive workplaces through leadership, accountability, and community conversation. It included insightful presentations from Cadmus Delorme and Jackson Katz, who shared powerful perspectives on leadership.

Thank you to Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan for hosting such an important and impactful event.
