June is Men’s Mental Health Month. In construction, fatigue is a safety hazard—but it also wrecks your mind. Skipping sleep spikes stress hormones, kills focus, and makes you 10x more likely to face depression. Grinding through burnout in silence isn't tough; it's dangerous.

If you are experiencing thoughts of self harm or know someone struggling - call or text 9-8-8 (available 24/7 across Canada).

We had a great meeting with the Saskatchewan NDP to discuss Bill 621. This legislation would prioritize Saskatchewan workers on publicly funded projects in the Province.

When public dollars are spent, Saskatchewan workers should be first in line for Saskatchewan jobs and paid fairly. Period.

These agreements WORK:
✔️ More local jobs
✔️ Fair wages
✔️ Stronger communities
✔️ Skilled workers staying in Saskatchewan

Unfortunately, on May 12, 2026, the SaskParty Government voted against moving Bill 621 forward in the Legislature.

We’re not backing down. We’ll keep fighting for policies that put local workers, families, and communities first.

Publicly funded projects should support local workers, local families, and local communities. Saskatchewan workers deserve good jobs, fair wages, and opportunities built right here at home.

Which is why we Support Bill 621.

On the National Day of Mourning, we remember the lives lost and the workers injured, and we also recognize the families, friends, and coworkers left behind. The grief can be overwhelming—heavy, persistent, and deeply personal for those who carry it.

If you are struggling with overwhelming grief or need mental health support, call or text 9-8-8 for immediate help.
