🍂 THANKSGIVING – A HEART OF GRATITUDE 🍂

Thanksgiving looks different for each of us.

For some, it is a table surrounded by family, laughter, and an abundance of good food. For others, it may be a quieter day, with worries that do not disappear simply because it is a holiday.

Wherever you find yourself this Thanksgiving, we want you to know that you are seen, you are valued, and you matter.

Gratitude does not mean life is perfect or that we have to pretend everything is okay. Sometimes it begins with the smallest things—a kind word, a helping hand, a shared meal, or the gift of another day.

At Break Free, we are especially thankful for the people who make up our community: our guests, families, volunteers, donors, partners, and friends. Each of you is part of a beautiful story of compassion, connection, and hope.

Above all, we give thanks to God, whose love remains faithful through every season of life.

🙏Our Thanksgiving prayer for you:

May you experience kindness where there is hardship, companionship where there is loneliness, peace where there is worry, and hope for the days ahead.

A Time for Reflection with Break Free

📖 Today's Scripture:
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalm 119:105 (NIV)

Have you ever wished you could see what lies ahead?

Life can feel overwhelming when the future is uncertain, especially when you are already carrying more than enough for today. But notice something beautiful about today's Scripture. God's Word is described as a lamp for our feet—not a spotlight revealing the entire road.

Sometimes God gives us just enough light for the next step.

We do not have to know all the answers, have everything figured out, or walk the journey alone. God is with us, one step at a time.

What is one area of your life where you need God's guidance today?

🌱 This Week's Invitation: Before beginning your day, offer this simple prayer:

“Lord, guide my next step.” Then look for one opportunity to put His love into action.

🙏 Let's Pray

Heavenly Father, when the road ahead feels uncertain, help me trust Your guidance. Give me wisdom for today's decisions, courage for the next step, and peace in knowing I do not walk alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today's Anchor Truth: I don't need to see the whole road when I trust the One who guides my steps.

May you step into this week knowing that you are deeply loved by God, created with purpose, and never without hope.
