Happy first day of school!

Please do not drop your children off before 8:35 as there is no outdoor supervision available until then.

Please refrain from using teacher parking lots and the back alley by the school to drop off and pick up your kids. This creates a traffic jam and increases safety concerns for students and staff.

Also we will accepting donations of plastic cutlery, bandaids, Ziploc bags and nut free snacks.

Hello families! As we all prepare for back to school next week, we are asking you to think of GMS when you are out doing your school supply shopping or grabbing groceries. We are looking for donations of band-aids, plastic forks and spoons, zip-lock bags and peanut free snacks. These are items that the staff room goes through quickly. From playground mishaps needing band-aids or zip-loc bags being turned into icepacks. To Students forgetting a spoon for their yogurt or perhaps they are in need of a snack because they didn't get breakfast or forgot something at home. These items often get restocked by our teachers and support staff. So we are reaching out for help, but please only donate if you are able to. We recognize that costs of these basic items, along with others are increasing, so donate only if you can.

All donations can be dropped off on backpack night Monday, August 31st from 3:00 - 5:00.

Today we celebrate an important milestone as our Grade 8 students prepare to take the next step in their educational journey.

Over the years, you have grown, learned, made friendships, overcome challenges, and created memories that will last a lifetime. As you move on to high school, take pride in all that you have accomplished and look forward with confidence to the opportunities ahead.

On behalf of the School Community Council, congratulations to each and every graduate. We are incredibly proud of you and excited to see what the future holds.
