SVFFA would like to recognize Holly and the incredible work our CISM team continues to do for departments across Saskatchewan.

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) plays such an important role in helping first responders navigate difficult and traumatic calls. The support, guidance, and understanding they provide can make a huge difference after experiencing events that are far from “normal.”

Our CISM team continues to show up for departments when they are needed most, providing support to firefighters, emergency personnel, and even assisting during incidents involving members of the public affected by traumatic scenes. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to mental wellness within the emergency services community does not go unnoticed.

This 50/50 fundraiser helps support our CISM team and allows them to continue providing these important services to departments across Saskatchewan.

Every bit of support helps ensure this valuable resource remains available for the people and departments who may need it most. ❤️

Firefighters—career, volunteer, industrial, and wildland—stand ready at a moment’s notice to protect lives, property, and communities. Their commitment extends far beyond emergency response, encompassing prevention, education, and resilience in the face of increasing risks.

On behalf of the SVFFA, we extend our sincere gratitude to all members of the fire service for their unwavering service and professionalism.

🔥 SVFFA Spring Fire School – Thank You! 🔥

What an incredible weekend of training, teamwork, and dedication at our Spring Fire School!

We want to extend a huge thank you to our host department for opening your doors, organizing the facilities, and helping create such a successful event. Your hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed.

A sincere thank you to our CISM team for being present and supporting the mental wellness of our firefighters. The importance of looking after our people goes far beyond the fireground, and we truly appreciate the time and care you brought to this weekend.

A special thank you to Gutters 450 Grill for providing an absolutely amazing meal for our Board meeting on Friday and helping us kick off the weekend right—your support is greatly appreciated!

To all of our vendors, thank you for your continued support of the fire service. Your contributions help make these events possible and enhance the experience for everyone involved.

To our instructors, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and passion. Because of you, firefighters from across the province leave better trained, more confident, and safer.
