Last Friday, we had the privilege of delivering 10 laptops to the Native Youth Resource Centre, part of Native Child and Family Services Toronto, located at 655 Bloor St. West.
A heartfelt thanks to the leadership and staff for welcoming us and giving us a tour of this incredible space. It was truly inspiring to see the impact of your work firsthand.
The Centre is a vibrant, culturally grounded space for Indigenous youth aged 16–29 to gather, learn, and grow. Its programs support employment, education, housing, arts, health, and connection to culture and community, all within a beautiful, purpose-built facility designed with warmth and inclusivity at its heart.
We were also honoured to be invited to attend their 28th Annual Community Pow Wow the following day. It was a beautiful celebration where we learned more about Indigenous culture and traditions.
We’re deeply grateful to long-term donors Ray Tavares and Stephanie Weekes for generously donating the funds to pay for these laptops, and to Free Geek Toronto for professionally refurbishing and preparing them for distribution.
Each laptop represents access to opportunity, creativity, and connection. Together, we’re helping bridge the digital divide and empowering Indigenous youth for a brighter future.
