On November 10, we received a surprise donation from Thorhild Minor Hockey from their Teddy Bear Toss. This generous donation weighted 343 lbs. Thank you goes out to all who donated to this event.

Our raffle ticket sales are coming along nicely but there are still some left. Tickets can be found at Redwater Home Hardware , Shane's Guardian Pharmacy , & Theo's Pharmacy.

We will also be attending Kris Kringle at Pembina Place on December 5 & 6. The final draw will take place at 2pm on Dec 6 during the Christmas Craft & Bake Sale.

The Redwater Food Bank has opened Christmas Hamper registrations by calling the Food Bank at 780-942-2061. Please be sure to register no later than December 5.

The Government of Canada has issued an urgent recall notice of YOP Drinkable Yogurt(all flavors) distributed by many grocery store chains across the country. Please do not consume, use, sell, serve or distribute these products due to possible contamination of plastic pieces.

The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace due to possible presence of pieces of plastic.

Thank you goes out to the organizers of the Christmas in October that was held at the Redwater Legion on Sunday Oct 26. We were in attendance to accept food and cash donations and received 114 lbs of food to hand out to our clients.

Thank you to all who support us. Your generosity warms our hearts to provide food and hygiene products to those who need a helping hand.

On Oct 10, we did a big grocery shop plus picked up 3000 lbs of donations along the way. When we got back, the Redwater U15 & U18 team members who could come, helped us haul almost everything upstairs to the Food Bank and some to our temporary storage.

What a great bunch of kids that came out to give back to their community. Thank you for such great team spirit and teamwork. Looking forward to having you back in the near future.
