📣 The Voice of Albertans with Disabilities (VAD) is coming to Pembina Place!

Join us on Wednesday, October 22 at 1:30 PM for a short presentation about how VAD can support individuals with disabilities in our community.

✅ After the presentation, VAD representatives will be available to help with important forms such as:

*AISH

*CPPD

*DTC

*CDB

*OAS

🗓️ This is a free service, but registration is required.

On October 14 from 7 - 9pm, there will be a Candidate's Meet & Greet at the Redwater Legion. Residents are encouraged to come down and meet the candidate's one on one and ask questions.

Due to our our President Nicole Krill being a candidate for Councilor in the Town of Redwater Municipal election, an external third party has been engaged to organize the Meet & Greet.

In the spirit of openness and transparency, we want to assure our members, partners, and the public that while Nicole is pursuing this role, she is taking a temporary leave from her role as President and will not be engaging in any political activity on behalf of, or through, the Chamber.

The Chamber of Commerce remains a non-partisan organization and does not lend it's support to any candidate running for any government office.

Candidates will receive a call to confirm their attendance.

Thank you goes out to the Candidate's that participated in our Federal Candidate's Forum on Apr 23. Thank you also goes out to Joanne Williams and Monica Houle for being our time-keepers.

Our President lost her voice but that didn't stop her from asking tough questions. Some questions left some candidate's speechless but also brought awareness to some important issues.
