Dress for Success Central Alberta empowers women to create long term financial independence by providing a network of support, workplace attire, career skills and tools for success. The mission of Dress for Success Worldwide is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in w

ork and in life. Our clients are a diverse group of women who have faced a variety of life challenges and are seeking employment and self-sufficiency. Many clients find us through referrals from non-profit and government agencies but referrals are not required: anyone can access our services! They come in to be suited for an interview, and once they have landed a position, they are encouraged to come back to be suited for a full week of work attire, footwear, accessories, and more – all free of charge. Additionally, they can access training such as resume writing to grow their skills and confidence. Since 1997, Dress for Success Worldwide has served more than 550,000 women. With every successful client, new volunteer or donor, we grow our ability to help more women. Join the Dress for Success community and support women and their families in Central Alberta!

We're participating in The Possibility Exchange, an exciting new event created by the Community Foundation of Central Alberta!

On September 3rd, this free event is designed to bring the community face-to-face with the charities, volunteers, and neighbours working every day on the issues that matter most.

Attendees will explore interactive booths, hear powerful local stories, and connect directly with the organizations shaping the future of our region. This innovative friendraiser is designed to welcome everyone who is curious about the charitable work being done in Central Alberta.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Red Deer for their generous donation in support of our Career, Connection & Community Drop‑In Days. Their contribution has allowed us to create a welcoming space where women can access meaningful resources, build connections, and receive support as they navigate their job search.

We were honoured to recently welcome representatives from the Rotary Club for a tour and to show them firsthand the impact their investment is already making. This new program is filling a much‑needed
gap in our community, and their support is helping women move forward with confidence and hope.

We were thrilled to welcome representatives from 100 Men Red Deer for a tour of Dress for Success Central Alberta! Thanks to their generous support this spring, we have already begun a project that will expand our usable office space as we prepare to grow our client support team. We’ve also started upgrading the lighting in our inventory room, making it easier for our dedicated volunteers to sort and organize clothing for the women we serve.

Thank you, 100 Men Red Deer, for investing in our mission and helping us create an even greater impact in our community. We look forward to sharing a full progress update at your next meeting! 💙✨
