Step away from your desk and spend your lunch hour at Picnic on the Plaza, happening every second Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gary W. Harris Celebration Plaza, located at the west entrance of the Intermediate School at 5205 48 Avenue.

Hi DNA Fam. Come down to the Gary Harris Plaza tomorrow (Wed 29th) for lunch. There will be ChizCorner Food Truck parked on site, fun activities and a great vibe.

What a cool event!

Coming up on the 15th there is a exciting event being put on by Eventide Funeral Home for Westerner Days. A chalk art contest! Juried by us here at the Arts Council and all proceeds being donated to The Arts Council to allow us to bring more community arts events to Red Deer. Registration for this event starts at 11am and judging will take place at 2pm with a $2 hotdog lunch when you get hungry. We want to see your amazing chalk art and we want your art to be a part of this years Westerner Days Events, so come on down to 4820 45 St. this July 15th to take part in this wonderful community event.
Entry Fees:
Youth: $5
18+: $10
Under 6: Free play

Take a moment to recharge your mind and body by getting outside, enjoying nature, and connecting with others in the community.
The Working Circle Mindful Explorations invites you to join us for a refreshing nature walk this Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
We’d also love to hear your ideas for future gatherings. Whether there’s an activity you’d like to attend or a skill, hobby, or wellness practice you’d be interested in sharing with the group, please bring your suggestions along.
