On our last two days of our exchange with the Pionniers 229 we traveled back toward Red Deer. We stopped to have a guided tour of the Nordegg coal mine. Then we stopped at the historical Taunton trestle bridge at Saunders, and stayed at Camp Sherbino near Sylvan Lake. We were treated to a delicious spaghetti meal prepared by Scouting Mom's Tara and Tanis, and celebrated Boris's birthday. The next day we officially closed the Red Deer part of the exchange and said our goodbyes. In just a few days we will be in Montreal to experience the fun and hospitality of the Pionniers!
