Tree House: Thrive begins tomorrow! Thrive is our free youth mental health program that teaches coping skills and techniques for managing anxiety and depression using theatre games, exercises, and improv.

This innovative program will remain free to participate in because it is powered by community partners.

Thank you to The City of Red Deer for awarding us with a CCDF grant, which is essential to keeping this program free to attend.

The Red Deer Polytechnic Psych Department conducted a literature review of the program, which helps to demonstrate the impact Thrive can have in the community.

Our curriculum uses the Red Deer Primary Care Networks curriculums- Anxiety to Calm and Pathways to Happiness- for the basis of our programming. Their support helped us create a program using evidence based methods. Thank you for the incredible support.

Huge thank you to YMCA of Northern Alberta - Red Deer, Parkland Mall, and Move Your Mood Alberta who have all donated space for our program to operate in. Their help and support has made this program possible.

For more information on the literature review by RDP, head to
