Radiation‑free precision in breast surgery. Thanks to our generous donors, Red Deer Regional Health Foundation funded a new Sentimag Breast Surgery Platform and Magtrace tracer at Red Deer Hospital Centre, bringing safer, patient‑first care to our community.

During a recent wet lab education session, surgeons had the chance to train hands‑on with this innovative technology, which replaces radiation and blue dyes with magnetic detection, reducing risk, improving comfort, and offering more flexibility for patients and care teams.
