The Alberta Band Association supports hundreds of bands and musicians in schools and communities across the entire province through a variety of programs and services. As a not-for-profit organization we depend on our volunteer Board of Directors to sustain our program offerings for the benefit of our members and communities. The ABA will use your donation to sponsor internationally renowned guest

conductors, soloists and clinicians to work with students in the Provincial High School Honour Band and Junior High Honour Bands (North and South). The money will also support the ABA’s annual Festival of Bands, the premiere provincial band festival that boasts a full panel of distinguished adjudicators to work with performers. Because of your generosity, the ABA can continue to partner with the Alberta Choral Federation and Alberta Music Education Foundation to develop and host Music Conference Alberta – the annual conference dedicated to music education and professional development. We are collecting information for a province-wide community band database and plan to enable musicians of all ages to connect with one another. The ABA Music Lending Library is an important source of repertoire at all grade levels. The library is constantly growing and is available to all of our members. Your donation can benefit a specific school or community band program. They will receive 25% of your pledge to our campaign to support individual program needs and to ensure that every band in the province can benefit.
