To my fellow vendors, I wanted to share a personal update.

After much thought, I have made the decision to step away from my role as Director of The Mom Market Red Deer.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who welcomed me, supported me, and gave me the opportunity to connect with so many amazing small business owners in this small time. Meeting and working alongside such talented entrepreneurs has been the best part of this experience.

This decision wasn’t an easy one, but I believe it’s the right choice. My values have always been rooted in supporting small businesses, building genuine relationships, and leading with honesty and respect, and I feel it’s time for me to move in a different direction.

I sincerely wish the vendors, the directors, and everyone involved nothing but success in their future events.

After carefully reviewing vendor participation and the overall event experience we would be able to provide, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this market.

My goal will always be to create successful events that provide value for both vendors and customers, and we didn’t have the participation needed to deliver the experience you deserve.

I know vendors invest time, energy, inventory, and money into every market you attend, and I never want to ask you to commit to an event that may not meet your expectations. While this was not the outcome I was hoping for, I believe it is the right decision.

I know that building a market community as the New Director takes time, and I want you to know that I am committed to doing things the right way. Thank you for your patience, support, and trust. I truly appreciate every vendor who has chosen to be part of this journey.
