The Rotary Club of Raymond has coordinated the Rotary Canada Day Parade, over most of the past 3 quarters of a century, a mainstay in the community' heritage days weekend adjacent to the first of July. The town of 4000 residents has upwards of 10,000 parade watchers along the now 14 block route, at times wrapping around full 14 blocks, simultaneously.

Of greatest concern to the Rotary Club is the safety of both those participating in the parade or viewing from the curbs, no small challenge with a parade that still allows candy being tossed from floats to the kids along the route.

We want to continue to provide a parade the community can be proud of. We are open to your feedback on any aspect of the parade you would like to comment on:

- Candy parade and safety
- crowd control and safety
-traffic control and safety - before, during and after
- the use of water sending devices
- Float and entry categories
- the music and bands
- prizes and judging of entries
- Honorary Parade Marshalls past, present, and future
suggestions for candidates.
-Anything else you' like to bring to our attention.

The parade belongs to the Town. It is your parade.
The Rotary Club is honored to deliver it to you as a service to the community- an opportunity for businesses and organizations to "display their wares", a contribution to celebrating both Canada's and Raymond's birthdays

Your feedback is appreciated.
