The Raymond Rotary has always been incredibly supportive of the Free Pantries. At the Carol Festival, they helped by collecting donations to benefit us.

Today is . If you want to take part in this global giving movement and benefit people right here in Raymond, here are a few ways you can support our work:

1. Donate non-perishable food or hygiene items at our donation bins in the Merc, Pharmasave or Snow's Pharmacy or any pantry location.

2. E-Transfer a monetary donation to [email protected]

3. Sign up to be a volunteer and help fill the pantries by sending us a message.

Our AGM is this Saturday at 10am in Town Council Chambers. The public is welcome. We do have a few openings on our board. Our AGM is a great opportunity to come and learn more about the work our society does in Raymond to address food insecurity.

🌟 Thank You, Raymond! 🌟 Once again, our amazing community stepped up in a big way for the Target Hunger drive. Thanks to your generosity, we collected and weighed an incredible 5,305 lbs of food and hygiene donations this year! We also recieved $750 in donations from community members.

A huge thank you to the youth and youth leaders of the Raymond Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for organizing this important event. Your leadership and energy make such a difference in ensuring families in our community have what they need.

We’re also grateful to the Raymond Seniors for once again offering their parking lot for the evening and for giving our Food Shed its permanent home. Your ongoing support means the world.

A special thanks this year to Raven's Radical Rangers volunteer group from the high school who were behind our tables hauling, hoisting and weighing all of the donations. They help us throughout the year to ensure the shelves are stocked and organized.

And of course, thank you to our board and volunteers, whose dedication behind the scenes and at this event these ensures donations make their way into the hands of those who need them most.

• The outdoor Little Pantry at the Raymond Clinic (24/7)

We’re so grateful for everyone who stopped by our booth at the Raymond Tradeshow! Thanks to your generosity, over $600 💵 was raised and three Rubbermaid totes full of food 🥫🛒 were donated to help keep Raymond’s Little Free Pantries stocked and our community cared for.

We’re also excited to announce that 🌟 Cassandra Hardy 🌟 is the winner of our draw for a free family pool pass! 🏊🎉 Congratulations, Hardy Family!

We're continuing to share ideas and challenges to help stock the shelves to cover our current shortage until our big fall food drive. Today's idea is to assemble a holiday meal kits 🐣

Holidays, like Easter, are a time for coming together — and a warm meal can make it even more special.

As you shop for your easter meal, consider grabbing an extra can of veggies or fruit, snack foods, or any other Easter meal favorites. Or even treats that a bunny might share.

Drop it in the donation bin on your way out — your small act of kindness can help make Easter brighter for a family in our community. 💐

Remember, we have donation bins located near the exit of the Merc, Pharmasave and Snow's Pharmacy in Raymond. You can also leave items directly in our food shed 24 hours a day.

Thanks for all the great responses to our last post — your ideas are helping us find new ways to fill the pantries! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more ideas and challenges to help stock the shelves to cover our current shortage until our big fall food drive.

For our first idea to share, next time you're out shopping and see a great deal, grab an extra item and drop it in the donation bin on your way out. Small acts like this can make a big difference in our community! ❤️
