« Parmi les obstacles auxquels je fais face en tant que personne autochtone dans l’industrie du cinéma, il y a le manque de mentorat et d’accompagnement. Il y a très peu de représentations autochtones dans le cinéma, alors j'ai l'impression que je navigue dans cette industrie toute seule, et c'est parfois assez intimidant. »

The Gikendamowin Community Spotlight is a series of 25 video testimonials, sharing the personal experiences of Indigenous women within the screen sector. An extension of our Gikendamowin Initiative, this series highlights valuable perspectives that identify barriers to success.

La réalité, c’est que si vous êtes un parent célibataire, il y aura des moments où vous manquerez ces occasions et où vous devrez les laisser passer. »
