Day 1 is officially in the books and it absolutely went off. 🔥
Our 13U group kicked off the weekend in Portland with an incredible experience at Maine Lightning, getting an inside look at what high-level player development, training, and recruiting exposure really looks like.
Players and families took part in an education and recruiting session with Ryan Copp, toured the facility, connected over team dinner, and wrapped up the night together at the Portland Sea Dogs game. ⚾️
Huge thank you to Ryan Copp and the entire Maine Lightning staff for opening their doors and sharing their knowledge with our families.
Big credit as well to our staff, Coach Sherman Yo, Coach Jeff Reeves, and Coach Andrew McNevin, for leading sessions and helping bring the experience to life.
Even cooler seeing coaches and athletes from all across Atlantic Canada coming together under one program with a shared goal: development, exposure, and opportunity.
Now this morning, the boys are set to take the field at legendary Ed Flaherty Field at the University of Southern Maine. A full circle moment for our program and a powerful reminder of what’s possible for Maritime players right from home.
Meanwhile back in Dieppe, Team Camp is officially underway with full-day sessions running Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The energy around the program right now is unreal.
