Join the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 94 Ladies Auxiliary this Friday October 16th for our monthly perogy dinner from 4 PM to 6 PM. Enjoy a meal of homemade perogies, garlic sausage, sauerkraut, and onions. Dessert included.
Come early, this is one of our most popular meals.
Take a chance at the Friday Night Meat Draw also.

On May 5, 1945, inside Hotel de Wereld in Wageningen, Canadian Lieutenant-General Charles Foulkes met German General Johannes Blaskowitz to finalize the surrender terms for German forces in the Netherlands.
For a country devastated by five years of occupation, the moment meant liberation was finally becoming reality.
Canadian troops had fought through the Netherlands during the final months of the Second World War, while Dutch civilians endured hunger, destruction and occupation. In Wageningen, the streets filled with people, bicycles, flowers and flags as the war approached its end.
Today, the bond between Canada and the Netherlands remains deeply connected to those days of liberation.
A historic moment remembered by two nations. 🇨🇦❤️🇳🇱

Today is that last day of our Silent Auction. Bidding will close at 6 pm. Sharpen your pencils and make sure to be on hand so you won’t be outbid on the items you wanted.

As we all know, our Silent Auction is coming up starting next week and we need some help. Many of the items you have generously donated have been stored downstairs (to keep our Hall free for functions)
These items need to be brought up on Sunday (There is an event in the Hall Sat night) So we are looking for a number of younger legs to assist us with this. Many hands ( and legs) make light work. If you have some free time Sunday, we are meeting at 9am. This has to be done in time to allow the set up and organizing on Monday, so the Auction can begin Tuesday morning.
