Thought I'd add some perspective. 1,434,000kms.
The ride began with 137 Full Pullers registered to cross the country. 10 of those didn't show at the start line.
We ended in Vancouver with 113 riders completing the journey.
We had over 100 motorcycles travel from St John's NL to Vancouver, BC. During the ride we had suffered a few medical issues and some mechanical difficulties. The more severe issues being some of the bikes are still in the shop for example, a transmission that completely grenaded near Wawa, On. Anyone who sought medical treatment is home and doing well.
When you travel as much as we do there are bound to be difficulties.
Here's the perspective. We rode(including support vehicles)an approximate cumulative 1,434,000kms!!
We also injected over $600,000 into the Canadian economy, frequented 27 Royal Canadian Legion Branches(who generously fed us), enjoyed the police es**rt support of 96 police officers in all provinces but one, EMS support of 24 Paramedics(new record), and over 70 firehalls/depts.
We also recognize that we connected with 1000's of veterans, first responders, their families, and supporters. Which in turn furthers the conversation of mental wellness and doing the work.
Overall this year was incredibly successful and I'm proud of all who participated in whatever capacity.
