Today, Police, Fire, Paramedics, Air Transport, ER & RCMP go head-to-head at the 5th Annual YXE First Responders Fitness Festival.

This fundraiser will:

1. Raise funds for two organizations that help First Responders and Veterans combat PTSD.
2. Provide information to those First Responders and Veterans that have PTSD and give them the tools that they need to fight this disorder.
3. Provide general awareness to the public on these organizations and their mission to combat PTSD.

These two organizations are:

1. Can Praxis -
Helping Canadian Armed Forces Members And First Responders Rebuild Life Beyond The Job.

2. The Rolling Barrage - Our Mission is to create and maintain a community of support for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), RCMP, First Responders, Safety Community, and Emergency Healthcare Providers, to show strength and unity, and to combat the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

QDM is a Canadian farmer, comedian, and a Facebook and YouTube star from Saskatchewan.

He creates humorous, and satirical online videos under the Quick Dick McDick persona. His content focuses heavily on rural life, Canadian agriculture, the energy sector, and politics, delivered with a sharp "straight from the tractor seat" perspective.

QDM has veterans in his family and is proud to support this event.

Last evening in Bonnyville AB., our local volunteers for the two day Bonnyville layover, were all brought together to enjoy a team dinner.
Certificates of appreciation were handed out to these incredible volunteers.
The entire evening was donated through the Bonnyville event.
How incredible is that?!?

During our rest day in Bonnyville a group of our riders were screened for security and permitted into 401 Sqn's hanger where they were all treated to a seat in an F18 Hornet.
To add to our enjoyment we watched multiple jets launch!!!

We'd like to say a special thank you for assisting in access to the base and 401 Sqn to Tammy and Christie. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

Team Rubicon is a disaster relief agency that deploys CAF veterans, and kickass civilians around the world when disaster strikes.
