So You Think You Can Dance, Qualicum Beach Celebrating Youth in the Community 1st Annual Dance Competition - we welcome all styles of dance, and anyone in Grade 6 thru 18 years of age.

Hello Everyone!

It is with great sadness that we need to move the date of The "SYTYCD" Finals from May 20th, 2012 to a date in June.

Due to the Long Weekend and many other contributing factors.

Please stay tuned to the website as we work with the dancers to seslect a date for their finals.

Hello Everyone! Round 2 Saturday 4pm at KSS High School in Qualicum Beach. Doors open at 3:30 - Open to the public!

Bring your choreography and your wrist band to enter.

Tell all your friends, a great afternoon of dance and comments. This time we will all get to hear what the Judges have to say!

$1.00 donation at the door gets you in!

SYTYCD – QB
Rules:
Solo, duet or trio audition
Individual or whole group may make next round
All disciplines of dance welcome
Must be under the age of 19 to qualify for grand prize
Dancer must be at available for the may long weekend
Costumes: we will do our best to keep any costs associated to a group number costume to under $20.
Duet costumes for the finals will be up to the individual dancers.
No inappropriate costumes will be allowed
Dancers are to be prepared to do a group piece for the finals as well as a duet. They will be paired up after round 2
Dancers will not receive payment for their time for rehearsals
Dancers may go straight to the finals
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

HEY EVERYONE!!!! DUE TO A DOUBLE BOOKING, OUR AUDTITIONS HAVE BEEN MOVED TO THE QUALICUM BEACH SCHOOL OF DANCE, RATHER THAN TOWN HALL. PLEASE STAY TUNED TONIGHT FOR DIRECTIONS TO THE NEW LOCATIONS!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for all of your interest! Here goes the next round of info:

Doors open at Qualicum Beach Town Hall at 8:00am
Auditions will begin at 10am
Bring a CD or an ipod with your music. Audition as a soloist or as a duet/small group. All or some of your group may get picked for the next round.
Registration fee is $10 - cash only
ALL DANCE styles welcome!
Dancers do not need to be with a specific studio - just need the love of dance
Round 2 will be held on April 24, 2012.

Thanks again everyone for your support! We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
