Just a reminder to ***be careful in the heat and smoke***
Use public spaces such as our library and the Community Centre at Ravensong to cool down if needed.
If you cannot make it to an air conditioned building, cooling showers or a bath, a cold face cloth on your neck, and fans will also help.
Take care of yourselves and each other🥵

It's less than two months to our Qualicum Woods Garage Sale😱

Last time we had 41 households participating in this fun community event.

This year it will be held on Saturday, Sept 5 (the Saturday of the Labour Day long weekend) from 8 am - 1 pm, or whatever hours suit you.

QWRA will be putting an ad in the paper, and posting a notice on our page.
You can help publicise the sale with a with a notice on Facebook or other social media.

Pick a spot in your home to gather items you no longer need to get ready for the sale.

Consider buying balloons to mark the sale on your driveway and street.

The timing will be perfect, just before all those back-to school costs, or these days, even a trip to the grocery store😉

Please join in the fun and check out what your neighbours have for sale.

You never know what treasures you’ll find.🛹🎸🚲📸🤿🛶🪎

Hope to see you soon!

****Campfire Ban Notice Effective July 16****

All open burning, including campfires, beach fires, and fireworks will be prohibited within the entire Qualicum Beach Fire Protection area effective from noon on Thursday, July 16, 2026, until further notice.

This ban has been implemented by the Qualicum Beach Fire Chief in conjunction with the ban implemented by the BC Wildfire Service to help prevent human-caused wildfires and to protect public safety.
