Please observe these rules that apply to our local beach in Eaglecrest.

Make way for the geese! Keep your dogs off the beach 🐾

Each Spring, Brant Geese arrive on our shores to rest and regain strength on their way to the Alaskan Peninsula. For this reason, dogs are not permitted (on-leash or off-leash) on any public beach between March 1 and April 30.

Dog owners may be subject to a $100 fine.

Violations can be reported to either the Town Bylaw Department at 250-752-6921 or to the Province at 1-877-952-7277.

Work is now underway with heavy equipment on the Eaglecrest Golf Course and the site is closed to the public for everyone's safety. We respectfully request that you no longer use the golf course as a recreational/walking space while the course is undergoing construction and respect all fencing, barricades, and posted signage. Thank you.

There have been troubling reports of individuals entering the active site and moving barriers, and creating serious safety risks for both the public and construction crews!

With the Eaglecrest Golf Course Reconfiguration now underway, the site is an active construction zone where large earth-moving equipment is operating throughout the day.

Residents are asked to please stay off the property and respect all fencing, barricades, and posted signage.

Thank you for helping keep this construction site safe for everyone!
