🎨🪨 Community Project Complete!

Last week, our second group of IM&M+ students successfully completed their Community Project!

To spread a little joy throughout our community, they painted and placed beautiful rocks around the Sunken Garden for both locals and cruise ship visitors to discover. They also refreshed the chess table with a brand-new set of chess pieces for everyone to enjoy. 📸✨

Next time you're out for a stroll, keep an eye out for one of their unique creations! If you find one, snap a photo and tag us. We'd love to see your discoveries.

The Hecate Strait Employment Development Society is hiring! We’re looking for a SPARK Facilitator to join our team in Prince Rupert.

As our new SPARK Facilitator, you are responsible for delivering an innovative program to prepare youth to move into advanced education. You will inspire youth to find, prepare for, and follow a pathway towards a dream career.

In this role, you will plan and deliver a training calendar for Bladerunners sessions and provide one-to-one coaching, classroom facilitation, and support to individuals. You will engage team members and project partners, develop necessary partnerships, and implement community projects that contribute to local priorities and youth interests.
