After a 100 years on Henry Ave. Summerland United Church is selling their property to bring low income housing and a new facility for the Food Bank & Resource Center to the community of Summerland. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to the building that has served our community for so long. On Oct 5, we are providing the opportunity to come visit these sacred spaces to say goodbye, share memories and share in the fellowship of this great community. PLEASE NOTE: Summerland United Church Community of Faith will continue to be a part of Summerland. We will be moving to 9311 Prairie Valley Rd where we will share the Stone Church and other spaces with the St. Stephen Anglican Community.

I would like to thank the United Way for their support of our growing for the food bank project. Their recent grant helped purchase some equipment which has improved the efficiency of the growing and harvesting process. Today we delivered over a $1000 worth of produce. Also a big thanks to the United Church which has been managing the grant on my behalf.
