Sorry for the short notice, water refills will be on Thursday June 25, 2026 from 3 pm to 6 pm in the Nisga'a Hall alley access, not the hall itself.

Information Sharing : Volunteers Needed

The 2nd Halibut distribution may start later as we have some amazing volunteers right now, but could use more help from members to cut and bag halibut for distribution for 12 pm today.

Please use side entrance if you are able to help.

Information Sharing : Halibut Distribution Round #2

Society is looking for volunteers to help offload and prepare halibut for distribution to registered members at 10 am on the side of the Nisga'a Hall building.

Distribution may start as early as 12 pm, depending on how many volunteers we have to help.

Send a note or text with the person picking up on your behalf if you're unable to do so yourself.

If you have signed up for text alert and still not receiving them, please check your SMS Junk Folder as sometimes our alerts get bumped into there. You can email and / or call the society office with your cell number to add for future alerts during harvests.

What a fantastic community meeting last night! So great to see so many come out for the last meeting before the fall.

It was great to see the Nisga'a Employment Skills & Training team at our meeting with great information, swag and some treats from Tanya C ! Yum!

Attached are the names and contact emails and phone numbers for each respective area and the worker for it.

There are copies available at the society office.

Information Sharing : REMINDER

June 2026 Community Meeting will be TODAY, Wednesday June 17, 2026) at 5 pm in the Nisga'a Hall. The doors will open at 4:30 pm.

Dinner will be served at 5 pm and will be catered by the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Elders group - Spaghetti & Caesar Salad is on the menu!

Nisga'a Employment Skills & Training will be in attendance for members to connect with.

Gitmaxmak'ay society groups, staff & businesses will be providing updates as well.

Door prizes for those in attendance! This will be the last Community meeting until the Fall. See you there ✌️
