Our coaches volunteer because we care, because we want to give and not just take, because we are the change we want to see in the world, because our children are the future and they learn from us...so many more reasons why our volunteers give up their evenings, weekends, vacation days and more!

Looking for that new volunteer opportunity? We have openings for Board Positions, General Manager (Program Coordinator) and Paddling Coaches (summer at the lake or winter at the pool). PGCKC has been running affordable programs for PG kids since 2012. Our key volunteer needs to retire to recover from spinal cord surgery but can provide training and ongoing support. Email info @ PGCKC.com if you would like to have fun outdoors, paddle, and give the gift of your time to the community and kids.

For the past 6 weeks, we've been training. Now it's time to go to Maple Ridge and have some fun at the BC Summer Games! Well wishes to Zone 8 as they compete in Sprint Kayak, Sprint Canoe, SUP, Slalom and Kayak Polo.

Huge thanks to all our volunteers and the families that supported them in helping us out: Bini Ball, Selina, Barry, John, Timothy, Ariadne.

Registration is now Open for August Programs. Kids programs for those new to paddling or want to improve their skills in canoe & kayak. Member Drop-In dates are posted (pre-reg is required to ensure we have volunteers on site - more dates can be added based on demand).

Amazing day at Nadsilnich Lake today, meeting our new volunteers and testing out the boats. Even took the wee Faelan for her first canoe ride. Can't wait for our Open House event at the pool next weekend! Try kayaks and SUPs and a special racing canoe!
