Now it’s time to gear up for another year of great Scouting adventures, and this message provides important details on 2017–2018 Membership Fees and Registration as you guide parents through spring registration.
The Scouts Canada membership fee for 2017–2018 has been set at $215, a modest increase that sustains our competitive advantage while enabling us to continue offering a high quality program.
Note that youth registered between May 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017 qualify for a spring registration discount rate of $185. This is unchanged from last year’s discount and represents a significant savings over the 2017-2018 regular fee.
From July 1 – December 31, a fee of $215 applies. For registrations after January 1, 2018, a fee of $165 applies.
Starting May 1st, 2017 it will be possible to register current members for the upcoming 2017–2018 Scouting Year in Myscouts.ca.
We are pleased to provide a three-week advanced registration period for returning members. From May 1 through May 22nd, parents will only be able to renew their children in the same Group in Myscouts.ca so that returning youth can guarantee their place in the Group. Registering new participants or returning participants in a new Group will be available on May 23rd. Groups will still be able to register both new and returning Scouts.
If you have any problem please reach out to the help desk or myself we are only accepting online registration this year it is first come first serve. it is absolutely critical that you register may first to the 22nd to take advantage of the reduced rate and so you secure a spot i have multiple wait lists for all sections and want to ensure returning members get a spot.
