Hi Everyone,

Please note that the main water tap has now been officially shut down for the season to prevent the pipes from freezing.

Because of this, and with more frequent frosts on the horizon, it is time for us to finalize shutting down all garden beds. If you haven't already done so, please head down to your assigned beds over the next few days to complete your final autumn clean-up. This includes removing any remaining frost-damaged annuals, harvesting what's left, and preparing your soil for the winter.

PGPIRG is hiring a Local Foods Coordinator!🍎🍏🥬🍏

This part-time position will support the Good Food Box, Good Store operations, online sales, and coordination with our program team.

20 hours/month | $19/hour + 4% vacation pay
Start date: August 1, 2026

What are real foods? 🌱
Real foods are naturally nutrient-dense and minimally altered from their natural state. They nourish your body, support health, and help build stronger communities.

Highly processed foods with added sugars and oils may fill you up, but they do not nourish you the same way.

The PGPIRG Farm is about reconnecting with real food through local growing, learning, and community.

🌿 We currently have 13 community garden beds available for the season.
✨ Free for PGPIRG members; $10 fee may apply for non-members
🌱 Open to all experience levels
🥕 Grow vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, or crops of your choice
🤝 Learn, garden, and connect with the community
