August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. Today, we remember those we have lost to overdose, support those who are grieving, and raise awareness about overdose prevention.

Knowing the signs of a potential opioid overdose can help save a life. Some signs include:
• Slow or no breathing
• Cold, clammy skin
• Blue lips or fingernails
• Slow or no heartbeat

If you or someone you know needs immediate support, call 9-1-1.

You can also reach out to CSFS programs for support.
