We are honoured to develop recreation opportunities on the lands which the Dakelh people have stewarded since time immemorial. ACT has been together since 2017 with focus of mountain bike trail development on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T'enneh at Tabor Mou

ntain, within the Tabor Mountain Recreation Society established recreation polygon. All the information gathered was used to make a development plan which was submitted to the Ministry for further review and stakeholder consultation. We are pleased to announce that after many years of hard volunteer work, that the initial plan has been approved. We are now looking for funding, volunteers and other resources to help with the on-site trail development of the approved trails. We are excited to work with other local groups and stakeholders to create a recreation resource for the community.

Every can you return can put money into local trail work. 🚡
The Association of Caledonia Trailbuilders has a Return-It Express account, and using it is easy:
1) Bag up your empty bottles and cans
2) At the Return-It Centre kiosk, enter reference number (250) 617-8387
3) Print your tags, stick them on your bags, and drop them off
That's it β€” no lineup, no sorting fees, and the refund comes straight to the Trailbuilders to spend on the trails you ride.

We spend our winters going around the community looking for support to build world class trails in Prince George. This year Sunbelt Rentals came up big with a great deal on a long-term excavator rental.
Support like this allows our team of volunteers to build trails that last decades, not weeks. We are incredibly grateful for the support and look forward to what other opportunities our community of businesses can open up!

Hey PG! We know you're eager to shred Chump Change, but before we can unleash the beast, we need your help! 🀯 We're calling on all trail-blazing volunteers to come out and get their hands dirty this Sunday. In return, you'll be part of the exclusive club that gets to ride Chump Change before anyone else! πŸŽ‰
Here's the plan:
-Meet at Groveburn parking lot @ 8:30am)
-Rake out and trim the final section of Payroll
-Help install signage
-Leaf blow and trim lower payroll
-Shred Chump Change!
And, let's be real, we know some of you are sneaking under the barriers and riding the freshly built sections of Payroll. We get it, you're excited! πŸ˜† But, let's channel that energy into something productive, shall we? Come help buff out your own tire ruts and earn that sense of ownership for real! πŸ’ͺ

Please be advised that Chump Change and Payroll are currently active construction sites and are not yet open to the public. We kindly request that you respect the dedication of our volunteers, who work tirelessly to provide exceptional and safe trails, by refraining from using these trails until their official opening. Unauthorized access can result in costly damage and is frustrating for those who invest their time and effort into building these trails. We appreciate your enthusiasm for our new trails and invite you to support their completion by becoming an ACT member through our website and participating in our regularly scheduled Sunday build days.

Hey PG! We need your help getting the Troll Lake Trail in tip-top shape! 🌳 Our recent surfacing and brushing work has left behind a bit of a mess and we need all hands on deck to get it cleared before fall arrives! πŸ‚ The trail is a beloved spot for hikers, bikers, and nature lovers alike, and we want to make sure it's safe and enjoyable for everyone. By lending a hand, you'll not only be giving back to the community, but you'll also get to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air. 🌲 Meet us in the Groveburn road parking lot THIS SUNDAY @ 8:30am to help out. Feel free to bring a few tools - or even your bike if you want to ride out when we're done. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. See you there! πŸ‘‹
