· Community Care Ministries exists to engage in compassionate, caring ministry, coming alongside the vulnerable, the lonely, the sick and the aged with love and
acts of mercy. We seek to build a better community through care and prayer by reaching out to the lonely and hurting in our communities. Sunshine bags are distributed to hospitals, care homes, and prisons during the Christmas season.
· Booth Youth provides many groups and activities for youth people ages three and up including recreational dance lessons, brass band instruction, youth groups, and discipleship classes. Dance is a low cost, competitive dance program for boys and girls of all ages. Dancers must first take part in the recreational program, and then commit to attending weekly discipleship classes to take part. Our goal is to provide a wholistic approach to growth by providing support physically, emotionally, and spiritually with minimal financial requirements. Major Crystal ext. 205
· Brave is affiliated with Brave Canada & Brave Global. Brave is a Catalytic Movement for Girls with a goal to reach out to the most vulnerable girls with a message of empowerment in every community across the Western world. Irene ext. 206
· 50 Plus is for men and women over the age of 50. They meet together every Tuesday from 1-2:30 pm for bible study. Everyone is welcome. Lynne ext. 201
2) The Salvation Army Curt Garland Centre

·The Prince George Community Food Bank is affiliated with BC Food Banks & Food Banks Canada. Food is provided to individuals and families struggling to meet their nutritional needs due to a variety of circumstances. Anyone in need of these services can call and make an appointment for assistance.
·The Salvation Army PG Thrift Store provides low cost recycled items to the general public and support for Community Ministries in Prince George.
·The Salvation Army Donations Depot & Recycling Warehouse prepares gently used donated items for resale in our Thrift Stores, while recycling helps to keep our community "green" by accepting your used, unwanted items and recycling them in many ways to keep waste out of our landfills.
·The Salvation Army Prince George Community Ministries provides clothing, necessary furniture, and household items to anyone needing these basic needs met through our thrift store. An appointment can be made with our personal development worker to receive assistance. Families can apply for additional assistance of food and toys during the Christmas season.
·The Salvation Army Northern Administrative Offices local and divisional office staff are available to provide information to donors, media, and the general public. The Salvation Army annual kettle campaign and other fundraising efforts are managed out of these offices.
3) The Salvation Army Hart Thrift Store provides low cost recycled items to the general public and support for Community Ministries in Prince George.

We can't do what we do without YOU! There are many varying opportunities for the public to volunteer. We provide volunteer hours for those on disability, students, seniors & anyone look to gain work experience. Anyone can volunteer, we hope to see you soon!
