BOYS CAN BE VICTIMS TOO.

When people think about human trafficking and exploitation, boys are often left out of the conversation.

The reality is that boys can be groomed, manipulated, recruited, exploited, and harmed too.

Too often, warning signs are missed because of stereotypes, stigma, and a lack of awareness.

Understanding the signs is one of the first steps toward prevention.

Swipe through to learn:

▪️ Who trafficking can impact
▪️ Why boys are often overlooked
▪️ Common recruitment tactics
▪️ Warning signs to watch for
▪️ What parents and caregivers can do

Awareness creates conversations.

Conversations create protection.

Protection can save lives.

At Find Ontario Missing Boys, we believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, protected, and supported.

Because boys can be victims too.

Jay’siiah is more than a headline.

“Our family deserves answers, and Jay’siiah deserves justice.”

Those words from Jay’siiah’s family say it better than anything I could.

As they continue to navigate an unimaginable loss, we stand with them in their pursuit of answers, accountability, and justice.

Jay’siiah will not be forgotten.

We will continue this work in his honour.

Thank you to Jason Miller and the Toronto Star for continuing to keep attention on this case.

We honour and remember Jay’siiah Webb-Long. 🤍

A beloved son.
A protective big brother.
A cherished grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Jay’siiah was funny, smart, kind, and deeply loved. His life touched so many people, and his memory will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.

As his family navigates this unimaginable loss, we ask our community to keep them in your thoughts and prayers and to continue surrounding them with love and support.

Rest peacefully, Jay’siiah.

Your life mattered.
Your story matters.
You will never be forgotten. 🤍🙏🏾

Jay’siiah Webb-Long lived at home in Brampton Ontario with his mother and siblings before he went missing.

As media coverage continues surrounding his case, it is important that the public understands this clearly.

Jay’siiah was not simply a teenager who “left home” or relocated on his own. He was a missing and vulnerable 15-year-old boy whose remains were ultimately located in Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan after being missing for over a year.

Language matters.

The way these cases are framed publicly matters.

Too often, missing Black boys are subtly portrayed as though they willingly disappeared or abandoned their families instead of being recognized as vulnerable youth potentially facing child exploitation, human trafficking, coercion, violence, or systemic failures.

Jay’siiah had a family searching for him every single day.

A mother fighting for answers.
Siblings grieving.
A community trying to bring him home.

We owe families accuracy.
We owe these boys humanity.
And we owe the public a deeper understanding of what is truly happening.

As Find Ontario Missing Boys continues to grow, we are beginning the process of formally establishing a Board of Directors as we work toward official nonprofit status.

This work has expanded far beyond what I ever imagined when I first shared those six missing boys online. Since then, families, advocates, educators, frontline workers, legal professionals, and community members across Ontario have stepped forward wanting to help protect vulnerable youth and support impacted families.

We are now looking to connect with individuals who may be interested in helping shape the long-term future, sustainability, governance, and strategic direction of FOMB.

We are especially interested in hearing from individuals with experience in:
• nonprofit leadership
• governance / board experience
• law or policy
• youth advocacy
• social work / victim services
• education
• mental health
• fundraising
• finance/accounting
• communications
• lived experience connected to this issue

This work is deeply trauma-informed, community-rooted, and prevention-focused.

If you feel aligned with this mission and would like to learn more, please email:

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this work, the families behind it, and the vision for what FOMB can become 🤍

With Love, Grief and Determination

💙 Today we remember Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou, who disappeared from Montréal on March 12, 2018.

Ariel was only 10 years old when he left his home around noon to visit a friend. He never arrived, and he has never been seen again.

Eight years later, his family is still searching for answers.

Cases like Ariel’s remind us why awareness matters. When a child disappears, time should never erase their story.

At Find Ontario Missing Boys, we stand in solidarity with families across Canada who continue to live with unanswered questions. Ariel’s name and story deserves to be remembered.

If you have any information that could help bring answers to Ariel’s family, please contact Missing Children’s Network.

📞 1-833-632-4673

Let’s keep sharing his story.
Let’s keep saying his name.
Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou.
